IT'S A...

BOY!

I'm now 17 weeks along. This whole pregnancy I had a "feeling" it was a GIRL. But, last night I had a dream that it was a BOY. I don't remember the details of the dream...I don't know if we had found out it was a boy during an ultrasound, or if we had him and saw that it was a boy. I don't remember those parts but I just remember that it was a boy in my dream.

Our appointment was at 10:45 this morning. DeeMaw (Shan's mom), Logan (our nephew), Aunt Megan (Shan's sis), Uncle Gary (Logan's dad), Nana (Mark's mom), Connor (our nephew), Lacey (our niece), Aunt Carol (Mark's sis) all joined us for this very exciting appointment. We are so lucky to have our family with us during this exciting time!

PeekABoo 3D/4D Ultrasounds made our experience awesome. The room was very comfortable and cozy. I got up in a bed and the ultrasound gel was actually WARM! There's a nice big sectional sofa that our family got to sit on and then there's a huge projection screen on the wall so that everyone can see the same thing at the same time! They have no limit on the amount of people you can bring, they didn't mind that we were taking photos and videos in the room...or that our crazy nephew was running around all over the place.

We got lots of photos, both 2D and 3D...check em out here:

His heart rate was 144bpm the first time she checked it and then a few minutes later it was 146bpm. Yesterday at my checkup appointment with Dr. Kil it was 145bpm...so it's pretty consistent there. During the ultrasound, baby Camden kept putting his hands near his nose and mouth. At one point, it looked liked he was trying to suck his thumb. We got to see all of the fingers moving as if he was waving or opening his fists or squeezing his hands. His little mouth was moving too, it was really neat to see.

He was being stubborn at first, you can see his legs are literally crossed. Tiffaney had to move the wand a little to make him move around but he finally opened his legs enough to where we could see that he wasn't a girl. She explained that the cord was transparent in case we thought that was a boy part...but the boy part was right next to the cord and you could definitely see the difference.

Thankfully, my little sister Devon (who just had baby Jeremiah on Thursday 9/5) will have lots of things to hand down to baby Camden. Still don't know what Megan is having, but Baby Moneymaker's birthday is scheduled for October 24th.

Our next ultrasound will be on September 30th when I'm 20 weeks. Let's see how much he grows in just a few weeks!

We are so excited that in just 5 months, we will have a son! Now the fun begins and we can go shopping and start thinking about nursery themes. Can't wait to meet this little boy...he's going to be so spoiled by everyone.
