Registration was all electronic (on an iPad) and our ultrasound tech, Tanya, was very nice. I wish we could have all of our ultrasounds here (Medical Imaging of North Stafford). Not to mention the quality of their machines and sonogram photos is much better than the doctor's office.
I was so relieved when she said the words "we have a viable pregnancy". But I still felt the pressure and pain of my full bladder so I was hoping she would tell me I could empty it soon. I have never peed that long in my life, it wouldn't stop coming out! She took a few more photos of Baby Savage once I returned from the bathroom. She got the heart rate which was 174bpm...much much higher than just two weeks before when it was 109! She said that everything looked great, did some more measurements, and we were all done. She sent us on our way with two sonogram photos.
Look, you can tell it's a BABY!
Aren't those the cutest little arm and leg nubs you've ever seen?! Mark says he can tell that the baby has his head already...yeah, it's big!
I ended up telling work I was running late and went straight in afterwards. Mark didn't have to do that because he usually leaves around 8:30 anyway. It worked out perfectly to have our appointment only a mile from our house at 7:30 in the morning.
