I knew exactly what it was when I read the symptoms online. It's hard to explain or pinpoint exactly where the pain is because it's sort of all over. It starts in the lower back and goes to the butt and then leg. Sometimes I'll have to stop in my tracks and just can't move for a few seconds. I feel like an old lady. Last night I was bending to get something out of the fridge and it took a little while to get back up. Mark thought I was crazy...it's really all his fault though!
What to Expect has a lot of good resources for symptoms and treatment of sciatica during pregnancy. I might have to try the heating pad and/or hot bath. Ahh that sounds amazing as I type this from my freezing cold cubby at work with these horrible florescent lights that make me sleepy.
When I told Dr. Kil that the nerve pain was pretty much my only issue he told me that it was just gonna be like that until the baby came. But I have been Googling exercises and stuff so I'll try anything to ease the pain. I sure hope it really doesn't last the whole time because it makes it hard to do anything except sit/lay around and I want to start working out, well walking on the treadmill.
Oh, and doctor's orders...I need a massage. Babe, get on that...like tonight. Ok, thanks...love you!
